Hey guys! I have been getting a lot of questions on what your daily facial routine should be, and what products you should buy. There are thousands of products out there, and I am here to show you the way. Here is the skin routine that I use:
1. First, use Simple
Moisturising Facial Wash, $6.39 (on sale!) at
CVS stores. This wash leaves your skin thoroughly cleansed and
nourished, plus it's a perfect blend of our purest possible skin loving
ingredients with added vitamins.
There are two special vitamins in this wash: Vitamin B5 is known to help restore, soften and smooth damaged skin and Vitamin E is known to moisturize to improve skin conditio
n. Bisabololis also in the wash. It helps soothe and calm irritated, red skin.
Also, there are no dyes, no chemicals, no artificial perfumes, and no harsh irritants to upset sensitive, dry skin. This can be used for all skin types, but it works best with dry to combination skin.
2. Second, use a moisturizer. I would highly recommend
Neutrogena Oil-Free Facial Moisturizer. It comes in SPF 35 (which I recommend the most), SPF 15, and sensitive skin. The
SPF 15 and
sensitive skin bottles are available for $8.72 each (on sale!), while the
SPF 35 bottle is available for $10.39 (also on sale!) at CVS stores. This lightweight, non-greasy lotion is clinically proven to combine
long-lasting moisturization with effective sun protection for softer,
smoother, younger-looking skin. The sheer, oil-free formula absorbs
quickly, and features a broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection that helps
prevent premature signs of aging caused by everyday exposure to sun’s
damaging rays. This can be used for all skin types (if you have severely oily and acne-prone skin, I would either just use this on any dryer spots you might have, or not at all. It isn't
completely oil-free!).
3. Finally, use a spot treatment/refining mask, such as the
Proactiv Solution Refining Mask. It is available for $5.25 at
amazon.com. This therapeutic clay mask is designed to soothe irritation and heal
blemishes—as well as to help keep breakouts from getting started.
Apply a small dab directly on a pimple for overnight spot treatment (what I recommend), or apply a thin layer with fingertips to entire face or acne-prone areas. Let it dry. Leave
on for 10-15 minutes, then rinse off with warm water. Use 2-3 times per
week; more frequently is beneficial. If going outside in daylight after
treatment, wear sunscreen (an active ingredient in the paste makes you burn very badly!). (This amount of the refining mask can only be used by severely oily skin types. Even then, it will dry your face out completely.)
That's all! Just do this routine 2 times a day, and your skin will be glowing and radiant!
